Merry Christmas to All ...

'Tis the joyous Christmas season, and one of my favorite Christmas quotes from Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol says, "It is good to be children sometimes, and never better than at Christmas when its Mighty founder was a child Himself." (Luke 2:1-40)

The key to happiness is to hold tightly that child-like wonder at Christmas.

The holiday season is often filled with good and bad memories. Once, during my  "Bah Humbug!" period, I cross-stitched another Dickens quote - Bah Humbug! - and encased it in a gilded frame.

Foremost this Christmas, cherish the simple things of the heart. Happiness is a gift and the trick is not to expect it, but to delight in it when it comes. (Dickens)

Merry  Christmas to all and to all a good life!
